Assalamualaikum wbt
All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger

Greetings!
Another post  :)

I don't know what to answer when someone were to ask,
'What is the thing that you miss most during your bachelor years?'

I am not the kind of student that lecturers will remember
as I am very average and I am not the type that shine or that lepak2 with them.
So, I guess they are not among the number one that I miss.hemmm

First, I would say that I will miss the time spent together with the girls.
There were 1,2,3...7,8... 9 of us girls and 4 boys equals to all 13 of us.
The girls are all fantastic and great in their own ways.
Yup, sincerely from me, girls.
The boys, hemmmm........Haaahaaa.
I will miss them lots too cause
they were the reason why we can cope with the three years.

They lepak with us.
They shared their thoughts and mature opinions
(although most of the time, they are the most immature ;))
They made jokes and lessen the tense in class.
And most importantly, even though they are very good in speaking and presenting,
they were always, if not always, most of the time,
support us girls when we were doing our presentation.
Really appreciate all those guys. *I'm touched

Another thing that I will miss is my schedule, or I would say, my time.
When it was during the semesters,
it was either class were cancelled and we can lepak2 or do something else OR
class ended and we can later went to watch movies or what not.
It was like, ahhhhhhhhhhhh, a very great feeling.haha.
Especially when there were only morning classes
or when the evening classes were cancelled.
*Heaven! hahaaa.
But, one thing I'll ever feel guilty of was coming late to class.
Always always and always late to class.
That was one unsolved problem during the three years.
But, not anymore of all the above things as my friends and I
are approaching a more serious and different lifestyle now.

At present,
Work only ends at 5 or 5.30pm officially.
We only get to have an hour for lunch.
Must be at the office by 8, or being late more than 4 times,
a warning letter will arrive at your desk.
When at Uni, the most you'll get when you are late was you were locked out of class or
you'll get a very very very bad impression from the lecturers.
Then, also, traffic in the morning and traffic later after work.
Plus, sometimes, weekends are also working days.
(I hope these does not sound like I'm fretting ^.^)

But,
Adapting is what a human being should be good at.
And that is what I am doing now.
I thought there will be less time
for me doing other things when I started working,
but it turns out okey.
I found out that,
I value time more when there are lesser time remains
for me to do some other things.

NOW,
I try to spend my weekends extra well, as I earn it after five full working days!
I try to treat my parents at my best when I arrive home everyday after work!
I try to be the best of myself!
I try to not giving up as there is no such thing as that!

Let's try and be our best together!
After all, 'we want to be a better person TODAY, than we were YESTERDAY'
Thanks for reading ;)

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. Me: ....................... or very very very rare, Dialogue 3 A: What course did you take? Me: English for Prof Comm A: Ohh..ok. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

Sleepless night to remember

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Hello. Upon writing this post, I am at a state where I can no longer open my eyes to continue doing my work. My friends and I are at Level 9 Menara at this late hour, yup (for those who know the history.........hahahaa.....). It's kind of our lepak place for wifi, for just us. Alhamdulillah. Our journey are coming to its end. So far, we are done with two of our professional presentations. It was a nerve-wrecking and sleepless experience on preparing the text and searching for information and practice and what not for the presentation. Nevertheless, I enjoy every last moment of it. Even now, it is just so difficult to finish up my thesis and do the amendments needed, I choose not to fret and just keep on continuing these difficult times as I believe I will be reminiscing these times later in the future. InsyaAllah, everything will end this Monday. My prayers to all of us, myself and my friends, that we...

Prom Night

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger And so, our konon2 Prom Night was a fun night. We actually called it Pre-Graduation Dinner plus also combining the dinner with the Dean's Award recipients.  It sounds funny when you called it Prom Night. For me when it is called as such, it sounds Americanish , wild and western .hahaa. But it is also suitable to be called as such to show it was a celebrated night and because the theme for that night was Tie, Suit and Dresses , I know, nice wasn't it. And the dinner, it was not the place or the food that we would fret about or be bossy about later on, its the people and the friends and the pictures that we will talk about again and again, it will be the memory that we will probably recall in the future, the almost last moment of a student life.hahaa. And guess what, just after the dinner, we the gals went and lepak for a while for a short kopi session just to end the night nicely. Wahh, a night to rem...
