Reunion iftar - Iftar reunion

Assalamualaikum wbt
All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger

It is already the very very end of Ramadhan. Let us all pray that we were given long life by our Creator to be able to meet this holy month again next year and the year after. Aminn.

Everybody seems busy performing ibadah during this end of Ramadhan especially during the last 10 days. Not forgetting, there are also those who take this moment to meet up after some time apart. That was what happened to me and several of my girlfriends. It has been a while since secondary school. A couple of years...hahahaha..... It was long time ago when all of us break our fast together at Dewan Makan sekolah.

Until last Friday, where all thirteen of us met and break fast together. We only spent two days during the weekends as some of us are working and doing internship at present.

We prepared everything by ourselves. From the venue to the food. Well, the venue was because of the mercy and kindness of a friend's family. May Allah SWT bless her family for being too kind to us. Her mother even invite us to stop by their home anytime in the future. Thank you very much aunty. Even myself who live nearby her town, was invited to sleepover anytime. hehehe.

Anyway, it was friday. Our journey started around the afternoon, 1p.m. The early birds were those who bought the groceries and cooked on that day. There were five of us as others could only come as early as 7p.m. When cooking is the matter, it does scares me at some point. We don't know how the food will turn out at the end. Especially when there was no one available to be the tester. Yet, during break fast, the food turned out nicely. The taste was also edible and believe me, the others did not comment even a little on the food. Is it because they were too tired upon arriving or they think the food were just tasty? Let's go with the latter.

At night, all of us had the chance to perform solat together. Which grant us with extra 27 pahala times how many times berjemaah....... wahhh, what a blessing. Later, quite late at night, all of us departed to the Blue Mosque. It is my second time there but it was my first time really entering and exploring the whole mosque. Subhanallah. The beauty and the huge size of the mosque cannot be described with words. Upon entering the mosque, my eyes were so huge, acting in disbelief of how men were able to build such a beautiful building.

There we experienced iktikaf. Slept for a few hours and woke up to perform qiyammullail. The wirid lead by the Imam sounded so deep that at a certain point it made some of my friends and myself "sebak". After that we had our sahur together and later subuh prayer. It was a very meaningful and beneficial moment for myself personally as it was my first time experiencing iktikaf. I hope all of us might be able to experience this moment again especially during the last 10 days of Ramadhan.

Everybody seemed happy meeting one another during this short reunion. Until today, some are still stating that they have already miss the moment of being together and all. I myself are happy and excited upon meeting all the girls again. InsyaAllah may we meet again.

After iktikaf

As for now, I would like to wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maaf zahir & batin for all my mistakes and wrongdoings. May all of us apologize and accept one another's apology to gain ihsan from our Creator.

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

Sleepless night to remember

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Hello. Upon writing this post, I am at a state where I can no longer open my eyes to continue doing my work. My friends and I are at Level 9 Menara at this late hour, yup (for those who know the history.........hahahaa.....). It's kind of our lepak place for wifi, for just us. Alhamdulillah. Our journey are coming to its end. So far, we are done with two of our professional presentations. It was a nerve-wrecking and sleepless experience on preparing the text and searching for information and practice and what not for the presentation. Nevertheless, I enjoy every last moment of it. Even now, it is just so difficult to finish up my thesis and do the amendments needed, I choose not to fret and just keep on continuing these difficult times as I believe I will be reminiscing these times later in the future. InsyaAllah, everything will end this Monday. My prayers to all of us, myself and my friends, that we...

Lailatul Qadar

Assalamualaikum wbt. All praises to Allah SWT & His Messenger. Lailatul Qadar is the night that is better than a thousand months. For those who sincerely devote oneself on that night will be granted with His countless blessings. Refer Surah Al-Qadr. What makes the event more special is that the time of it's occurrence is unknown. There are no exact dates in Ramadhan on when Lailatul Qadar is. The only thing that is known is that it may occur on any odd dates among the last 10 days of Ramadhan So, it is a chase for all Muslims. Which is good as it motivates us and myself to pray harder and do more ibadah especially during the last 10 days of Ramadhan to have the pahala of 1000 months. Which is when you convert, equals to pahala of 83 years! Allahuakbar. Subhanallah. There are many other ways or action that we can do during the last 10 days of Ramadhan. One of the most crucial, and this is in my own opinion, is to recite the Doa below all the time. We the imperf...
