Lailatul Qadar

Assalamualaikum wbt.
All praises to Allah SWT & His Messenger.

Lailatul Qadar is the night that is better than a thousand months. For those who sincerely devote oneself on that night will be granted with His countless blessings. Refer Surah Al-Qadr.

What makes the event more special is that the time of it's occurrence is unknown. There are no exact dates in Ramadhan on when Lailatul Qadar is. The only thing that is known is that it may occur on any odd dates among the last 10 days of Ramadhan So, it is a chase for all Muslims. Which is good as it motivates us and myself to pray harder and do more ibadah especially during the last 10 days of Ramadhan to have the pahala of 1000 months. Which is when you convert, equals to pahala of 83 years!

Allahuakbar. Subhanallah.

There are many other ways or action that we can do during the last 10 days of Ramadhan. One of the most crucial, and this is in my own opinion, is to recite the Doa below all the time. We the imperfect human have many wrongdoings and cannot run away from making sins. So it is best that on this very special occasion, for us to seek forgiveness and may Allah SWT forgives your and my sins aminn.


Aishah, ra berkata: Aku pernah bertanya Rasulullah SAW: ‘Wahai Rasulullah, jika aku tahu bila malam adalah malam Qadar, apakah yang perlu aku ucapkan semasa doa?’ 

Baginda berkata: “Katakanlah: Ya Allah, Engkau adalah Pemaaf dan suka memaafkan, maka maafkan aku. ” (Ahmad, Ibn Majah, dan Tirmidzi).

Assalamualaikum wbt. All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger. Its already a week after Chinese New Year celebration, around a week after the exact day if I'm not mistaken. At this very moment, I am not alone. The non-stop rhythm of the fire crackers accompany me upon writing this entry :) Chinese New Year, yes. It is among the yearly celebration that I enjoy. Even though I am not a Chinese nor have a Chinese family members, but they are my friends and neighbours. I remembered waking up to a very very loud drum and cymbals sounds several years back. It was from a lion dance at a neighbour's house. It was a great feeling. Woke up to the sound, peep through the window, then rush downstairs and towards the celebrating house. I can't remember brushing my teeth, but I do think I did brush them. So anyway, at that moment, it was the first LIVE lion dance that I have seen from near, in my life. Three more days...

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger. Woke up this morning to a neck ache and self-made sickness , despite sleeping early, quite early for a person who have a lot of work to do and who should stay up and do more before sleeping, I am not proud of myself. *aduhai. It is the final week of lecture before study break for us here. It seems bearable but, I don't know, unbearable at times. Yesterday, before sleeping, I know I am able to face this, I know I am able to finish everything till the last. But, waking up today, I kind of having a different opinion about things.
