Post-finals

Assalamualaikum wbt
All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger.

Hello!

It has been a while. A long-while, more than a month after the previous entry.

Alhamdulillah. My friends and I are able to complete our finals. Of course, there are always some papers that we are able to answer, some that are okey, some which are just nonsense, and some which came out as what we expected. And there are also some worst case scenarios when there are papers that we did not completed due to too much thinking, too much time consumed for one question and many others. It was kind of funny to recall on the things that we commented after we left the exam hall. After sitting there alone for several hours, going out the exam hall will be to socialize again.hahaa. Some of us are like, whatever la, some are a little worried, some just really don't care.

So, below are some FAVOURITE lines that my friends and I usually use or usually utter right after we step out of the exam hall:

'Amacam?'
'Ok la. Tapi soalan yg third and last tu, I main jawab je'

'Ok tak tadi?huuu'
'No comment. Dah habis kan'

'You jawab soalan ape'
'Hehe..I buat yg 1, 3 and......'

'Eh, yang question 4 tu, jawapan dia A kan?'
'Alah, x yah cek la. Dah jawab pon kan'
'..................................................'

'So, cane tadi?'
'Tak cukup masa la. Memang 20 marks I terbang la'

'Weh, gila la. Keluar yang kita discuss semalam'
'Kan..???! Alhamdulillah. Mudah-mudahan dpt la score'

And the best, or at least, the one that we really like to say, or rather, like to ask once we are out is.....

'So, nak makan katne eh? '

Hahaa.. Well, the last one is my most fav, I would say. It has nothing to do with the papers that we just answered, it answers the sound of our empty stomach, it is the best part and the most anticipating time after we answered a paper.

Our finals are usually in the morning, and we usually went there with an empty stomach or sometimes with a slice of just bread or maybe a cup of Milo. And sitting for the paper, which are usually 3 hours, fuhhh. Of course, lunch is the next best thing! Even though we have answered the paper with flying colours, or with a little disappointment due to not enough time or with no feelings, hahaa... we'll enjoy our lunch and will always be thankful.

As for now, the most anticipating time will be the results day! Let's pray. In shaa Allah, we will be granted with the best GPA for the fifth semester. Aminn.

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. Me: ....................... or very very very rare, Dialogue 3 A: What course did you take? Me: English for Prof Comm A: Ohh..ok. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

CNY

Assalamualaikum wbt. All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger. Its already a week after Chinese New Year celebration, around a week after the exact day if I'm not mistaken. At this very moment, I am not alone. The non-stop rhythm of the fire crackers accompany me upon writing this entry :) Chinese New Year, yes. It is among the yearly celebration that I enjoy. Even though I am not a Chinese nor have a Chinese family members, but they are my friends and neighbours. I remembered waking up to a very very loud drum and cymbals sounds several years back. It was from a lion dance at a neighbour's house. It was a great feeling. Woke up to the sound, peep through the window, then rush downstairs and towards the celebrating house. I can't remember brushing my teeth, but I do think I did brush them. So anyway, at that moment, it was the first LIVE lion dance that I have seen from near, in my life. It was fun as I actually experienced the moment. I also remembered watching ano...

2010 - 2013 Farewell Day

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger. Alhamdulillah, three years of bachelor degree had ended. My fellow mates and I had graduated and going to have our convocation ceremony soon. It was Ramadhan when we finished. We picked out Setia City Mall as the place for our farewell buka-puasa :) It was in July and I still remembered the moments as it was a fun and happy and exciting day for all of us. That day was Monday, the day where some of us still had to present our final presentation on thesis. Mine was on Friday, so I graduated a few days earlier.hahaa.. Anyway, I went to the mall before but that day seems much more fun. Was it because we finished our semester? or  Was it because it was Ramadhan that it felt special? or Well, I don't know, but it was a good feeling. After everyone finished. We set the time which was at 2p.m. to go to the mall. Our plan was to watch a movie (thought of playing bowling but, afraid that we might felt thir...
