Prom Night

Assalamualaikum wbt
All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger

And so, our konon2 Prom Night was a fun night. We actually called it Pre-Graduation Dinner plus also combining the dinner with the Dean's Award recipients.

It sounds funny when you called it Prom Night. For me when it is called as such, it sounds Americanish, wild and western.hahaa. But it is also suitable to be called as such to show it was a celebrated night and because the theme for that night was Tie, Suit and Dresses, I know, nice wasn't it. And the dinner, it was not the place or the food that we would fret about or be bossy about later on, its the people and the friends and the pictures that we will talk about again and again, it will be the memory that we will probably recall in the future, the almost last moment of a student life.hahaa. And guess what, just after the dinner, we the gals went and lepak for a while for a short kopi session just to end the night nicely. Wahh, a night to remember.

Anyway, when it is the final dinner, whether it was the dinner I had during form 5 or The after UPSR celebration in standard 6 or The end of diploma for some people, it is always a sign of farewell and completing another phase in our life. At present time, it was a sign that we are moving towards the end of our undergraduate studies and towards Graduation, May our path are eased aminn ya rabbal alamin. Please pray for us, pray for me.

In this remaining one month, my friends are I are killing ourselves to ace our Portfolio, our Academic Proposal plus our Final presentations. There is nothing more that we would hope and pray for except to perform and give out the best and score our best to end this memorable and meaningful phase. Hardwork-Pray-Play-Hardwork-Pray-Hardwork-Tawakal. Let's make it a moment to remember shall we!

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. Me: ....................... or very very very rare, Dialogue 3 A: What course did you take? Me: English for Prof Comm A: Ohh..ok. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

CNY

Assalamualaikum wbt. All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger. Its already a week after Chinese New Year celebration, around a week after the exact day if I'm not mistaken. At this very moment, I am not alone. The non-stop rhythm of the fire crackers accompany me upon writing this entry :) Chinese New Year, yes. It is among the yearly celebration that I enjoy. Even though I am not a Chinese nor have a Chinese family members, but they are my friends and neighbours. I remembered waking up to a very very loud drum and cymbals sounds several years back. It was from a lion dance at a neighbour's house. It was a great feeling. Woke up to the sound, peep through the window, then rush downstairs and towards the celebrating house. I can't remember brushing my teeth, but I do think I did brush them. So anyway, at that moment, it was the first LIVE lion dance that I have seen from near, in my life. It was fun as I actually experienced the moment. I also remembered watching ano...

Three more days...

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger. Woke up this morning to a neck ache and self-made sickness , despite sleeping early, quite early for a person who have a lot of work to do and who should stay up and do more before sleeping, I am not proud of myself. *aduhai. It is the final week of lecture before study break for us here. It seems bearable but, I don't know, unbearable at times. Yesterday, before sleeping, I know I am able to face this, I know I am able to finish everything till the last. But, waking up today, I kind of having a different opinion about things. I woke up thinking of the past years question's presentation that we have to present later today. Thinking am I able to provide sufficient answers and elaboration and example,.................................and whether everything will be just fine as usual. Wondering where to start on Organizational Behavior's task too. Questionnaire first or characteristics. Then, remin...
