Ramadhan last 10 days/2013

Assalamualaikum wbt
All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger

Dedicated to all Muslims.

It is the holy month of Ramadhan.
And guess what, time flies.
It is already the last 10 days of this special month :(

Last year's was great.
I remembered the feeling of enjoying this holy month.
This year, it feels so fast that this special month is now reaching its end.

But, even though it is the last day of Ramadhan,
there is always still time for us to do and give our best.
Only Allah SWT who knows.

I remembered the time I celebrated Ramadhan in school.
It was a fun memory. Among the best ones.
I got to do the best I can as there were many activities held for us to do together.
Of course, there is Tarawikh prayer.
We also had Qiyammullail.
We had Duha prayer during recess.
And what I loved most was that we had Tadarus session every evening.

Tadarus. How I missed it.
I remembered woke some of my dorm mates for that session.
When it was our senior year, well,
some would mengelat and what not.
I loved the idea of us, all the girls in all the different dorms
divided all the 30 Juzuk and read them in circles in our respective dorms,
reading the respective Juzuk that had been divided to us.
I love and would cherished all my memories.

Let's pray harder and hunt Lailatul Qadr.
I would also like to sincerely seek forgiveness
from all my family members and friends, from ALL of you.
May you forgive and forget, as that is whats best.

Let's practice and preach this for the last 10 days,

Aishah r.a. berkata: Aku pernah bertanya Rasulullah SAW,
" Wahai Rasulullah, jika aku tahu bila malam adalah malam Lailatul Qadar, apakah yang perlu aku ucapkan semasa doa ? "

Rasulullah SAW berkata: Katakanlah
" Ya Allah, Engkau adalah Pemaaf dan suka Memaafkan, maka Maafkan aku. "

(Ahmad, Ibn Majah dan Tirmidzi)

Salam 10 malam terakhir Ramadhan.
Mari berdoa memohon kemaafan dari-Nya bersama.
Salam kemaafan juga dari diri yang kerdil ini.

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. Me: ....................... or very very very rare, Dialogue 3 A: What course did you take? Me: English for Prof Comm A: Ohh..ok. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

Sleepless night to remember

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Hello. Upon writing this post, I am at a state where I can no longer open my eyes to continue doing my work. My friends and I are at Level 9 Menara at this late hour, yup (for those who know the history.........hahahaa.....). It's kind of our lepak place for wifi, for just us. Alhamdulillah. Our journey are coming to its end. So far, we are done with two of our professional presentations. It was a nerve-wrecking and sleepless experience on preparing the text and searching for information and practice and what not for the presentation. Nevertheless, I enjoy every last moment of it. Even now, it is just so difficult to finish up my thesis and do the amendments needed, I choose not to fret and just keep on continuing these difficult times as I believe I will be reminiscing these times later in the future. InsyaAllah, everything will end this Monday. My prayers to all of us, myself and my friends, that we...

Prom Night

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger And so, our konon2 Prom Night was a fun night. We actually called it Pre-Graduation Dinner plus also combining the dinner with the Dean's Award recipients.  It sounds funny when you called it Prom Night. For me when it is called as such, it sounds Americanish , wild and western .hahaa. But it is also suitable to be called as such to show it was a celebrated night and because the theme for that night was Tie, Suit and Dresses , I know, nice wasn't it. And the dinner, it was not the place or the food that we would fret about or be bossy about later on, its the people and the friends and the pictures that we will talk about again and again, it will be the memory that we will probably recall in the future, the almost last moment of a student life.hahaa. And guess what, just after the dinner, we the gals went and lepak for a while for a short kopi session just to end the night nicely. Wahh, a night to rem...
