2010 - 2013 Farewell Day

Assalamualaikum wbt
All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger.

Alhamdulillah, three years of bachelor degree had ended.
My fellow mates and I had graduated and going to have our convocation ceremony soon.

It was Ramadhan when we finished.
We picked out Setia City Mall as the place for our farewell buka-puasa :)
It was in July and I still remembered the moments as it was a fun and happy and exciting day for all of us.
That day was Monday, the day where some of us still had to present our final presentation on thesis.
Mine was on Friday, so I graduated a few days earlier.hahaa..

Anyway, I went to the mall before but that day seems much more fun.
Was it because we finished our semester?
or
Was it because it was Ramadhan that it felt special?
or
Well, I don't know, but it was a good feeling.

After everyone finished. We set the time which was at 2p.m. to go to the mall.
Our plan was to watch a movie
(thought of playing bowling but, afraid that we might felt thirsty)
And of course, eat, to break our fast.

We finished the movie and walk around in the mall.
Just to fill our time on something.
We went to MPH and for quite a while, we were feeling a little bit boring.hahaa
Until we walk past the entrance and saw the green field (one of the best thing about the mall is that, it has playground for kids, a fountain like KLCC but smaller, and a pretty greeeen field plus, it also has its own Convention Centre, Coooool!)

The green field is wide enough for people to play kites and play ball.
And so we start taking out our phones and start snapping pictures.
We took a number of pictures with numerous poses.
And, yup, looking at the pictures, I am satisfied.
The greens made the pictures extra pretty and memorable for me.

After snapping, giggling, running around to BE in most of the pictures,
it was time to break our fast.
Selecting a place to eat was also a problem for us earlier.hahaaa.
At last, we picked a thai-based restaurant, cannot remember the name.hemmm.
It was 'Pau' 'Papao' something. emmm, you go figure.
The food was nice. Yup, and the price is reasonable.
I even played with the food.haha.
And it has been confirmed, that the name of the place is Khao :)

Sweet and Sour Fish, I think

Emm, Fried squid, I think
I played with these three chicks ;)

Then after eating and praying Maghrib, we chat for a while and moved out.
By the time we went out of the restaurant, I already felt sleepy.hahaa.
Then, some of the girls and guys even went for dessert!!
Wah, they sure have big stomach.hehee.
They went and bought McD ice creams.

Before departed, we hug each other and said wishes and prayers to one another.
I was touched during that moment.
Suddenly we were all hugging and saying goodbyes.

Then, we went back home.

That was the last day.
I'll share some more on our three years journey soon.
Until later, take care.

Us, in our best behavior pose <3 n Congratulations to each and one of us on successfully graduated!

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. Me: ....................... or very very very rare, Dialogue 3 A: What course did you take? Me: English for Prof Comm A: Ohh..ok. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

Sleepless night to remember

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Hello. Upon writing this post, I am at a state where I can no longer open my eyes to continue doing my work. My friends and I are at Level 9 Menara at this late hour, yup (for those who know the history.........hahahaa.....). It's kind of our lepak place for wifi, for just us. Alhamdulillah. Our journey are coming to its end. So far, we are done with two of our professional presentations. It was a nerve-wrecking and sleepless experience on preparing the text and searching for information and practice and what not for the presentation. Nevertheless, I enjoy every last moment of it. Even now, it is just so difficult to finish up my thesis and do the amendments needed, I choose not to fret and just keep on continuing these difficult times as I believe I will be reminiscing these times later in the future. InsyaAllah, everything will end this Monday. My prayers to all of us, myself and my friends, that we...

Lailatul Qadar

Assalamualaikum wbt. All praises to Allah SWT & His Messenger. Lailatul Qadar is the night that is better than a thousand months. For those who sincerely devote oneself on that night will be granted with His countless blessings. Refer Surah Al-Qadr. What makes the event more special is that the time of it's occurrence is unknown. There are no exact dates in Ramadhan on when Lailatul Qadar is. The only thing that is known is that it may occur on any odd dates among the last 10 days of Ramadhan So, it is a chase for all Muslims. Which is good as it motivates us and myself to pray harder and do more ibadah especially during the last 10 days of Ramadhan to have the pahala of 1000 months. Which is when you convert, equals to pahala of 83 years! Allahuakbar. Subhanallah. There are many other ways or action that we can do during the last 10 days of Ramadhan. One of the most crucial, and this is in my own opinion, is to recite the Doa below all the time. We the imperf...
