Mamak story

Assalamualaikum
All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger

Hi.

Yup, Mamak story.
Malaysian would definitely understand what Mamak implies :)

Mamak or kedai Mamak is one place to dine.
Usually it is a place where people hang out and meet up for
teh tarik, teh o, kopi or others.
There, you could order million types of roti.
From roti kosong to
roti telur
roti bawang
roti cheese
roti banjir
roti nan
roti mengarut....hehe

And lots lotss more.
You name it.
And believe me, the variation of roti's name, are just sometimes getting weirder from time to time as these Mamak stall or Mamak restaurant are competing between them to be the best.

And yes, one of people's fav to get at Mamak is its NASI KANDAR!
Agagaaa.. this nasi is suitable for big eaters.
Recommended to those out there to try, especially if you are not a Malaysian ^^
If you're a Malaysian, then no need.hikk

Anyway, Nasi Kandar is like the it thing at Mamak.
Mamak is the only place for eaters to get Nasi Kandar.
Nasi Kandar is Nasi eaten with variety of gravy,
2, 3 types of gravy poured onto your rice
then, you select your dish
it can be fried fish or chicken, fish curry, etc.
Please Google for more info.

Ok. But, thats not what I'm about to share.
Thats the intro.

And so, I went to this Mamak one night, to have dinner with my parents.
There were only the three of us.
Entering the Mamak, we find our seats.
Coincidentally, the table next to us had 6 boys at it.
And coincidentally also, my parents had chose their seatings
and left me a seat facing these boys' table directly.

Truthfully, yes, it did feel wrong, a lil awkward and so.
But because I was hungry and tired, back from work, and
the boys didn't seem that very attractive, I think.
so, I care less and being the selamba me sitting there.

The boys were chit chatting during the earlier session.
They seemed to chit chat and what not.
And like after 10 minutes or 15 minutes after we were there,
there was this one particular boy who was like 'being the centre of attention'.
Centre of attention coz he was talking as loud as he wanted to.
And he was making jokes, talking and laughing quite loud.
Am not exaggerating coz my mama also thinks the same.ahahaa

I was like, what is with this boy.
Because I was quite emotionless and tired and the boy was not that attractive, I think,
So, I stare at the boy. Just a brief stare, to signal that he was talking toooo loud
and it actually bothered the people nearby.
But, he just didn't received my message. Nevermind though.

And among all of the boys, the one that talked rather loudly was the one that was quite good looking, I think.
Sadly, he just wanted to take everyone's attention and speak rather very loudly and so.
What a loss ^^

I don't know if  you think I was perasan,
but it seemed that the boy was trying to get people's attention towards him.
Because I was nearby, opposite their table and was sitting directly in front
and a lil bit on his right, we totally can see each other.bahaaa
It was my opinion that the boy was trying to get my attention.
It can be that I perasan and I was wrong.
But, it was kinda obvious.

Yup. Weird.
You tell me.

Thank God I was tired. So I pulled my selamba face and eat my roti telur and teh o panas in peace.

And readers, this is just for sharing purposes, I have no other intention other than to share my thoughts k.

Thanks for reading!

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. Me: ....................... or very very very rare, Dialogue 3 A: What course did you take? Me: English for Prof Comm A: Ohh..ok. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

Sleepless night to remember

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Hello. Upon writing this post, I am at a state where I can no longer open my eyes to continue doing my work. My friends and I are at Level 9 Menara at this late hour, yup (for those who know the history.........hahahaa.....). It's kind of our lepak place for wifi, for just us. Alhamdulillah. Our journey are coming to its end. So far, we are done with two of our professional presentations. It was a nerve-wrecking and sleepless experience on preparing the text and searching for information and practice and what not for the presentation. Nevertheless, I enjoy every last moment of it. Even now, it is just so difficult to finish up my thesis and do the amendments needed, I choose not to fret and just keep on continuing these difficult times as I believe I will be reminiscing these times later in the future. InsyaAllah, everything will end this Monday. My prayers to all of us, myself and my friends, that we...

Prom Night

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger And so, our konon2 Prom Night was a fun night. We actually called it Pre-Graduation Dinner plus also combining the dinner with the Dean's Award recipients.  It sounds funny when you called it Prom Night. For me when it is called as such, it sounds Americanish , wild and western .hahaa. But it is also suitable to be called as such to show it was a celebrated night and because the theme for that night was Tie, Suit and Dresses , I know, nice wasn't it. And the dinner, it was not the place or the food that we would fret about or be bossy about later on, its the people and the friends and the pictures that we will talk about again and again, it will be the memory that we will probably recall in the future, the almost last moment of a student life.hahaa. And guess what, just after the dinner, we the gals went and lepak for a while for a short kopi session just to end the night nicely. Wahh, a night to rem...
