Nothing much to say

Assalamualaikum.
All praises to Allah. and peace be upon His messenger.

Greetings.

I don't know whether it is a great thing or not, but, today is our MIP presentation, Dr. P's subject. It is something that my friends and I have to face since last semester. This MIP thing is a project that involves us in creating interactive 'text book' for standard two students. We create lessons, exercises and tests based on what standard two students in Malaysia should acquire.

Last night again my mates and I stayed up doing this subject, which is a never-ending project. And today, upon waiting for our turn to present, we received unfavourable feedbacks, or should I say, sour feedbacks.

The prior groups that have presented earlier inform us that they are given 30/100 -_____- for their presentation. And believe me, these people are more creative and talented, so being given 30/100 is crazy. What will our marks be... I have my 65% percent confidence with me this morning, upon finishing half of the exercises and some part for the lessons. But now, it feels like only 5% are left, or maybe less???

Anyway, we are praying for the best. Whatever it is, we still need to present our project, so let's just face it and improve towards the positive.

As for finals, there are two more remaining papers. Both are management papers. A lot of reading to be done. Once everything settled, I'll be writing on something fun, maybe :p. As for now, let's enjoy life to the fullest!

From google.

Let's hope, nothing as above happen.
If it is a hundred it should be a hundred for one paper and not total of several papers.
All the best for finals!

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. Me: ....................... or very very very rare, Dialogue 3 A: What course did you take? Me: English for Prof Comm A: Ohh..ok. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

Sleepless night to remember

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Hello. Upon writing this post, I am at a state where I can no longer open my eyes to continue doing my work. My friends and I are at Level 9 Menara at this late hour, yup (for those who know the history.........hahahaa.....). It's kind of our lepak place for wifi, for just us. Alhamdulillah. Our journey are coming to its end. So far, we are done with two of our professional presentations. It was a nerve-wrecking and sleepless experience on preparing the text and searching for information and practice and what not for the presentation. Nevertheless, I enjoy every last moment of it. Even now, it is just so difficult to finish up my thesis and do the amendments needed, I choose not to fret and just keep on continuing these difficult times as I believe I will be reminiscing these times later in the future. InsyaAllah, everything will end this Monday. My prayers to all of us, myself and my friends, that we...

Prom Night

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger And so, our konon2 Prom Night was a fun night. We actually called it Pre-Graduation Dinner plus also combining the dinner with the Dean's Award recipients.  It sounds funny when you called it Prom Night. For me when it is called as such, it sounds Americanish , wild and western .hahaa. But it is also suitable to be called as such to show it was a celebrated night and because the theme for that night was Tie, Suit and Dresses , I know, nice wasn't it. And the dinner, it was not the place or the food that we would fret about or be bossy about later on, its the people and the friends and the pictures that we will talk about again and again, it will be the memory that we will probably recall in the future, the almost last moment of a student life.hahaa. And guess what, just after the dinner, we the gals went and lepak for a while for a short kopi session just to end the night nicely. Wahh, a night to rem...
