Ramadhan

Assalamualaikum.
All praises to Allah and His messenger.

Its the holy month of Ramadhan :))

Alhamdulillah you, me and all of us are still here to celebrate Ramadhan this year. Able to seek forgiveness and given the chance to gain and collect multiple of blessings by performing  lots and lots and lots of ibadah on this special month. That is why Ramadhan is THE special month of all. Maybe, it is not the 'lots and lots and lots' of ibadah that we should actually aim on, to gain the blessings from The Creator depends on our niat. Make sure our niat is right, kerana Allah taala.

As far as today, the 1st day of Ramadhan has completed beautifully.

Another thing that I love most about this fasting month is the opportunity to break the fast with my whole family. Usually during dinner there will be my father, my mother, me and maybe my brother and maybe my sister. It is very seldom to have everyone at the same time eating dinner, or lunch during the weekends. And for that I am very thanked and happy. Very very thanked and happy.

As for my friends and for those who are not be able to enjoy Ramadhan with your family, dont be unhappy or sad. Cherish and celebrate it with your friends and those around you now. At least you have companion to accompany you during iftar and buka and Ramadhan. Be thankful for that :) I bet, there are lots more that you people may gain and experience by fasting with the others or fasting at other's places or country. But, I hope you guys won't miss the roti john and tepung pelita though :p

Hemmm...thats all I guess for a start on puasa. Untill my next entry peeps.

Happy fasting and happy performing ibadah !

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. Me: ....................... or very very very rare, Dialogue 3 A: What course did you take? Me: English for Prof Comm A: Ohh..ok. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

Sleepless night to remember

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Hello. Upon writing this post, I am at a state where I can no longer open my eyes to continue doing my work. My friends and I are at Level 9 Menara at this late hour, yup (for those who know the history.........hahahaa.....). It's kind of our lepak place for wifi, for just us. Alhamdulillah. Our journey are coming to its end. So far, we are done with two of our professional presentations. It was a nerve-wrecking and sleepless experience on preparing the text and searching for information and practice and what not for the presentation. Nevertheless, I enjoy every last moment of it. Even now, it is just so difficult to finish up my thesis and do the amendments needed, I choose not to fret and just keep on continuing these difficult times as I believe I will be reminiscing these times later in the future. InsyaAllah, everything will end this Monday. My prayers to all of us, myself and my friends, that we...

Prom Night

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger And so, our konon2 Prom Night was a fun night. We actually called it Pre-Graduation Dinner plus also combining the dinner with the Dean's Award recipients.  It sounds funny when you called it Prom Night. For me when it is called as such, it sounds Americanish , wild and western .hahaa. But it is also suitable to be called as such to show it was a celebrated night and because the theme for that night was Tie, Suit and Dresses , I know, nice wasn't it. And the dinner, it was not the place or the food that we would fret about or be bossy about later on, its the people and the friends and the pictures that we will talk about again and again, it will be the memory that we will probably recall in the future, the almost last moment of a student life.hahaa. And guess what, just after the dinner, we the gals went and lepak for a while for a short kopi session just to end the night nicely. Wahh, a night to rem...
