The zombies are back!

Assalamualaikum wbt
All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger.

It's December.
The last month for 2012.

For the time being, my mental is not in a sane state. Guess what, the zombies are back!! We're back. This week is still in control, but next week is already week 13 and the following week is the final week before all of us had our study break for finals *huhh, try reading them in one breath -,-.

So, anyway, this two fun weeks will be filled with:

-Test, test, test
-Quizzes
-Syabas negotiation
-Baby dumping presentation
-Presentation on past years final papers
-Report
-Interview people
-Present case study
-Replacement class
-Research proposal
-etc etc.....

The list seems bearable but imagine the preparation before the presentation, the draft before the real report, the hustle before finding the person to interview, the time to discuss and brainstorm the case study, the readings for tests and quizzes and others. In a way, this is fun, honestly I think it's quite fun because it feels like I do something, feels like I'm a real busy student, feels like I'm actually is a student, but when there is too much, the only thing I have in mind right now is to just get it done. Yeah, can't wait for the Friday on week 14. That is the day all of us will be looking forward to. Then, face study week, a short break before the ultimate finals!

Let's A's this semester. In shaa Allah.

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. Me: ....................... or very very very rare, Dialogue 3 A: What course did you take? Me: English for Prof Comm A: Ohh..ok. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

Sleepless night to remember

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Hello. Upon writing this post, I am at a state where I can no longer open my eyes to continue doing my work. My friends and I are at Level 9 Menara at this late hour, yup (for those who know the history.........hahahaa.....). It's kind of our lepak place for wifi, for just us. Alhamdulillah. Our journey are coming to its end. So far, we are done with two of our professional presentations. It was a nerve-wrecking and sleepless experience on preparing the text and searching for information and practice and what not for the presentation. Nevertheless, I enjoy every last moment of it. Even now, it is just so difficult to finish up my thesis and do the amendments needed, I choose not to fret and just keep on continuing these difficult times as I believe I will be reminiscing these times later in the future. InsyaAllah, everything will end this Monday. My prayers to all of us, myself and my friends, that we...

Prom Night

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger And so, our konon2 Prom Night was a fun night. We actually called it Pre-Graduation Dinner plus also combining the dinner with the Dean's Award recipients.  It sounds funny when you called it Prom Night. For me when it is called as such, it sounds Americanish , wild and western .hahaa. But it is also suitable to be called as such to show it was a celebrated night and because the theme for that night was Tie, Suit and Dresses , I know, nice wasn't it. And the dinner, it was not the place or the food that we would fret about or be bossy about later on, its the people and the friends and the pictures that we will talk about again and again, it will be the memory that we will probably recall in the future, the almost last moment of a student life.hahaa. And guess what, just after the dinner, we the gals went and lepak for a while for a short kopi session just to end the night nicely. Wahh, a night to rem...
