THE thesis dilemma

Assalamualaikum wbt
All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger

Hwarghhhhhhh ;(

Greetings dear readers,

1st of July is here. And so, our final classes has started. For us, the LG220 students(our course code ;)), we don't have any final papers, but we have final classes.

From the 1st till the mid-end of July we will be busy with seminar sessions, workshop and presentations. There will be three presentations; the first is going to be about our practical training, second is on a scholarship something something(am not sure), last and the biggest fear is the thesis presentation.

I am not sure why but, thesis sure crack me up off limit. I am just so scared when it is regarding my thesis. When doing the paper itself I am scared what-more is when you are presenting in front of the lecturers *gulp. I always over-think the killer questions that might be asked and imagine what will happen to me if that happens. sobsss. But of course, the other part of me always told me to be and to appear confident whatever the situation is. I should believe in the effort I had given to my thesis and let's just end this! Yeah, that's the spirit! Frankly said, I am still a lil bit scared though.

Pray for me. Pray for us. May our path are ease.

one tip so dat ur lecturers wont ask u killer questions.. 1. dont let ur words or sentences be their questions. eg, 'the ambient air pressure is 15 PSI' dats like a cue for them to ask questions.. lol what is PSI? how to calculate PSI? bla..bla..bla.. so, explain everything perfectly so dat they will understand completely what u r talking about. hope it helps.. gud luck on ur presentations!!!

English for Professional Communication

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Greetings readers! As stated above, in this entry I would like to share about the course that I am taking at present. It is a course from the Academy of Language Studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM). It is very rare to find people that know about this course. Dialogue 1 A: Eh, what are you studying now? Me: English for Prof Comm A: ...........??? So, what is that actually? Dialogue 2 A: Anyway, what are you taking now? Me: Language studies A: Oh.. TESL eh. Me: ....................... or very very very rare, Dialogue 3 A: What course did you take? Me: English for Prof Comm A: Ohh..ok. As you see, this course is not as popular as others like law, engineering, medicine, dental, education and others, which everyone knows of. But, it is a fun and interesting course to learn. Believe me. And if you are really good in English, which I am still working on t...

Sleepless night to remember

Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger Hello. Upon writing this post, I am at a state where I can no longer open my eyes to continue doing my work. My friends and I are at Level 9 Menara at this late hour, yup (for those who know the history.........hahahaa.....). It's kind of our lepak place for wifi, for just us. Alhamdulillah. Our journey are coming to its end. So far, we are done with two of our professional presentations. It was a nerve-wrecking and sleepless experience on preparing the text and searching for information and practice and what not for the presentation. Nevertheless, I enjoy every last moment of it. Even now, it is just so difficult to finish up my thesis and do the amendments needed, I choose not to fret and just keep on continuing these difficult times as I believe I will be reminiscing these times later in the future. InsyaAllah, everything will end this Monday. My prayers to all of us, myself and my friends, that we...

Prom Night

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger And so, our konon2 Prom Night was a fun night. We actually called it Pre-Graduation Dinner plus also combining the dinner with the Dean's Award recipients.  It sounds funny when you called it Prom Night. For me when it is called as such, it sounds Americanish , wild and western .hahaa. But it is also suitable to be called as such to show it was a celebrated night and because the theme for that night was Tie, Suit and Dresses , I know, nice wasn't it. And the dinner, it was not the place or the food that we would fret about or be bossy about later on, its the people and the friends and the pictures that we will talk about again and again, it will be the memory that we will probably recall in the future, the almost last moment of a student life.hahaa. And guess what, just after the dinner, we the gals went and lepak for a while for a short kopi session just to end the night nicely. Wahh, a night to rem...
