Personal Hygiene during Covid-19 and after

Hi reader.

Lately, what everyone has been doing is sharing on info related to Covid-19. All these including social distancing, cleanliness, face mask, sanitize, grocery shopping, quarantine and many more.

I would like to share some pointers on cleanliness and hygiene.
Some of the points are the things that we do everyday but we didn't take much attention until this pandemic happens. So, let's make it a point for us that from now onward, we will practice these for our self and our family.






1. Pakai penutup mulut dan hidung jika batuk atau bersin bagi mengelakkan percikan partikel kepada individu lain.

  • Amalkan etika batuk atau bersin yang betul. Pastikan anda memakai penutup mulut atau menutup mulut anda menggunakan tisu
  • Ini bagi mengelakkan percikan partikel daripada tersebar dan menjangkiti orang yang berada sekeliling anda
  • Elakkan menyentuh muka, hidung atau mata anda

2. Kerap cuci tangan menggunakan air dan sabun atau bahan pencuci tangan (hand sanitizer)
  • Kuman boleh tersebar di permukaan seperti susur tangan eskalator, troli, butang lif, butang ATM dan banyak lagi
  • Disarankan untuk menggunakan hand sanitizer yang mengandungi lebih 60% - 95% kandungan alkohol. (Nota: Penggunaan hand sanitiser tidak berfungsi sebagai pengganti amalan pencucian tangan tetapi sebagai alternatif mencegah kuman sahaja)
  • Sila amalkan langkah-langkah pencucian tangan yang efektif

3. Pastikan anda menjaga kebersihan diri sepanjang masa

  • Amalkan kebersihan diri dengan kerap
  • Pastikan anda mandi 2 - 3 kali sehari

4. Membersihkan permukaan menggunakan sabun dan pembasmi kuman (disinfectant)

  • Disyorkan untuk melakukan pembersihan rumah dengan sabun dan kemudian membasmi dengan pembasmi kuman. Sama ada pembasmi kuman cecair ataupun spray

  • Terutamanya bagi objek atau permukaan yang  sering disentuh seperti tombol

5. Minum air dengan kerap dan mencukupi
  • Pastikan mulut dan tekak anda sentiasa lembap dan tidak kering
  • Ini untuk mengelakkan sebarang jangkitan terutamanya melalui kerongkong dan ke paru-paru

Assalamualaikum wbt. All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger. Its already a week after Chinese New Year celebration, around a week after the exact day if I'm not mistaken. At this very moment, I am not alone. The non-stop rhythm of the fire crackers accompany me upon writing this entry :) Chinese New Year, yes. It is among the yearly celebration that I enjoy. Even though I am not a Chinese nor have a Chinese family members, but they are my friends and neighbours. I remembered waking up to a very very loud drum and cymbals sounds several years back. It was from a lion dance at a neighbour's house. It was a great feeling. Woke up to the sound, peep through the window, then rush downstairs and towards the celebrating house. I can't remember brushing my teeth, but I do think I did brush them. So anyway, at that moment, it was the first LIVE lion dance that I have seen from near, in my life. Assalamulaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger. Woke up this morning to a neck ache and self-made sickness , despite sleeping early, quite early for a person who have a lot of work to do and who should stay up and do more before sleeping, I am not proud of myself. *aduhai. It is the final week of lecture before study break for us here. It seems bearable but, I don't know, unbearable at times. Yesterday, before sleeping, I know I am able to face this, I know I am able to finish everything till the last. But, waking up today, I kind of having a different opinion about things. I woke up thinking of the past years question's presentation that we have to present later today. Thinking am I able to provide sufficient answers and elaboration and example,.................................and whether everything will be just fine as usual.
