Konda Kondi is a popular traditional game. It is also known as Perik Mata. The game is best played in an open area. The game is fun to play because of its simple rules and concepts.  Sharpness of a player is a benefit as this game needs focus from the players to target a safe direction to flick the stick in order to win the game.

Equipment:
One short stick
One long stick

Steps to play:
1.      Prepare a short and a long stick as in Image 1.1.
2.      The first player starts the game by putting a short stick across a hole. Refer to Image 1.2.
3.      Use the long stick to flick the short stick into the air. Then, hit the short stick again with the long stick before it hits the ground. Each player is given three chances to hit.
4.      At the same time, the opposing team needs to catch the short stick, Image 1.3. If they are able to catch the short stick for three rounds consecutively, they can change sides with the home team.
5.       If the opposing team fails to catch the stick, then the home team will earn points by calculating the distance of the short stick from the hole, Image 1.4. The distance of one long stick equals to one point. Then, the next player from the home team continues to flick the stick.
6.      The game repeats to decide the winning team.

Do you found the instructions helpful? Hopefully, you did. That is one of the criteria needed to get great marks for this work. May my friends and I are blessed with great marks, mudah- mudahan. Usaha dah ada, jadi mari kita tawakal, berdoa dapat yang terbaik :)

Credits to the korean drama "The moon that embraces the sun" episode 15, 51:40 minutes. That is the source where I have the idea of  how konda kondi is played and also to other sources which are google image, google search engine and blogs. tqvm.

And yeah, enjoy playing konda kondi as it is among the most traditional games because we could not easily found our generation playing this, right?? I know, I have no idea of how the game is at first. There are also other versions of konda kondi, and in my opinion, the version above is the one that is most interacting and fun. So, enjoy!

CNY

Assalamualaikum wbt. All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger. Its already a week after Chinese New Year celebration, around a week after the exact day if I'm not mistaken. At this very moment, I am not alone. The non-stop rhythm of the fire crackers accompany me upon writing this entry :) Chinese New Year, yes. It is among the yearly celebration that I enjoy. Even though I am not a Chinese nor have a Chinese family members, but they are my friends and neighbours. I remembered waking up to a very very loud drum and cymbals sounds several years back. It was from a lion dance at a neighbour's house. It was a great feeling. Woke up to the sound, peep through the window, then rush downstairs and towards the celebrating house. I can't remember brushing my teeth, but I do think I did brush them. So anyway, at that moment, it was the first LIVE lion dance that I have seen from near, in my life. It was fun as I actually experienced the moment. I also remembered watching ano...

2010 - 2013 Farewell Day

Assalamualaikum wbt All praises to Allah SWT and His Messenger. Alhamdulillah, three years of bachelor degree had ended. My fellow mates and I had graduated and going to have our convocation ceremony soon. It was Ramadhan when we finished. We picked out Setia City Mall as the place for our farewell buka-puasa :) It was in July and I still remembered the moments as it was a fun and happy and exciting day for all of us. That day was Monday, the day where some of us still had to present our final presentation on thesis. Mine was on Friday, so I graduated a few days earlier.hahaa.. Anyway, I went to the mall before but that day seems much more fun. Was it because we finished our semester? or  Was it because it was Ramadhan that it felt special? or Well, I don't know, but it was a good feeling. After everyone finished. We set the time which was at 2p.m. to go to the mall. Our plan was to watch a movie (thought of playing bowling but, afraid that we might felt thir...
